18 - 36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Relaxation in upper age limit is allowed to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities). Note: The persons who are working temporarily in the concern will get age relaxation equivalent to the length of their service. But the upper age limit shall not exceed 50 (Fifty) years. The persons who are holding regular appointment in the concern will not get this benefit. The provisional service put in by the candidates should be proved by a certificate obtained and kept in possession showing the length of service and produced as and when called for by the Commission. It should be specially noted in the certificate that they were not working in regular service.

Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 year course) recognized by the Government of Kerala. Note:- 1) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. 2) Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned.

1. The vacancies reported for this post are existing now. The Ranked list published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list is published after the expiry of the minimum period of one year. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and also against the vacancies if any reported to the Commission during the currency of the list. 2. The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found to be false. If any such advice is cancelled the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that the cancellation of advice for appointment and termination of service of the candidate shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. 3.
