Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to the reservation groups mentioned in this notification). But applications of 'SC' candidates will be considered in the absence of 'ST' candidates.

22-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1969 and 1.1.1992 (both dates included) are eligible to apply including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General Conditions. [For other conditions regarding age relaxations, please see para (2) of the General Conditions (except Para 2(i))].

1) Masters Degree in the subject concerned with at least 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic record. 2) Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the subject concerned specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf. When qualifications are being equal preference shall be given to candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.

Note : The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked to the above community but remains unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked list published on 07.12.2009 for the post. This is the Fourth NCA Notification for the post owing to non availability of qualified candidates belonging to the above communities as per the First NCA Notification (Gazette Date 31.12.2010. Category No. 491/2010), Second NCA Notification (Gazette date. 28.12.2011, Category No. 461/2011), Third NCA Notification (Gazette date 30.04.2013 Category No. 108/2013) Note Applications of candidates belonging to other than the communities mentioned in this notification will be summarily rejected and individual rejection memo will not be sent to them. Note:- (1) For Ph.D holders who have passed Masters Degree prior to 19/09/1991, 50% marks for Master's Degree shall be sufficient. [G.O (Ms) No.2/07/H.Edn dated 04/01/2007]. (2) Candidates who have obtained Ph.D Degree in the subject concerned or have passed M.Phil Degree in the concerned subject by 31/12/1993 are exempted from passing the NET Examination. [G.O (P) No.123/02/H.Edn dated 17/09/2002, G.O(Ms) No.86/07/H.Edn, dated 19/06/2007] (3) For recruitment to various posts under these Rules Degrees awarded by the Universities recognized by the UGC alone shall be considered.
