Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to the communities mentioned in column No.5 of para 2 above. Note: Application submitted by candidates other than the communities mentioned above will be rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to them individually.
Age Limit
21-49 : (Only candidates born between 02/01/1964 and 01/01/1992 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. Note:- 1) The upper age limit prescribed for OC categories(ie, 46 years) shall be raised by five years in the case of candidates belonging to any of the Scheduled Castes or adult members of such caste and their children when such adult members are converted to Christianity. 2) The above concession in upper age limits are available subject to the conditions that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50(fifty) years. (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions) Note:- For conditions regarding other age relaxation please see para 2 of the General Conditions except para 2 (i).
Qualifications
(1) Qualifications mentioned against respective post in Column No.4 of Para 2. (2) Permanent Registration under Travancore Cochin Medical Council. (Above qualifications must be acquired on or before the last date of receipt of application)
Notes
1. DNB qualifications must be acquired from a Medical College, which is recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. 2. Provisional Registration with any Medical Council will not be accepted. 3. Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the first ten(10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under defence services connected with defence, if required. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the above compulsory Military service.
