Direct Recruitment (From among candidates belonging to OBC Community only.) Applications received from candidates other than OBC Community will be summarily rejected without further intimation.

18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

(1) M.com. Degree from a recognized University or a pass in inter Examination of Chartered Accountant /Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. Note:- (I) In the absence of candidates with above qualification the candidates who have acquired the following qualification as prescribed in the mother notification with category number 431/2012 will also be considered. Degree with atleast Second Class from a recognized University.

Note:- (i) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked List published as per this Notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community but kept unfilled due to the paucity of OBC candidates during the currency of the mother Ranked List published on 29.01.2018 (Cat. No. 431/2012) for the post. This is the 2nd NCA notification for the post owing to non-availability of qualified candidates belonging to the above community as per first NCA notification as given below. (ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. (iii) Appointment shall be made on the basis of a competitive and qualifying test called ''The initial recruitment Examination for Divisional Accountants'' to be conducted by the Public Service Commission. (iv) Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II KS &SSR applicable. (v) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre–suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government Orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. (vi) The candidates under direct recruitment shall be selected by the Public Service Commission by conducting the competitive examination prescribed for the post of Divisional Accountant in Kerala General Services.
