20-46. Only candidates born between 02/01/1975 and 01/01/2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation as per rules (subject to a maximum of 50 years). 1. Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned subject from any University in Kerala or from any other University recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. 2. 'A' Class Permanent Registration from Travancore Cochin Medical Council (Council of Indigenous Medicine).

Note 1: The vacancies reported for this post are currently existing. The Ranked list prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new ranked list is published after the expiry of the minimum period of one year. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list. Note 2: Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject is mandatory for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor. Note 3: In the absence of candidates with Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject, Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject as prescribed by the Central Council of Indian Medicine from time to time will be considered. Note 4: Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification. Note 5: In the event of a candidate claiming correct caste/community in the application and the same is found to be different from the entry in the SSLC book, the candidate should produce a Gazette notification along with Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate at the time of certificate verification. Note 6: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Probation: Every person appointed to this post shall be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining duty.
