Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community only).
Age Limit
18-41. Candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. [Including the relaxation in para 2(i) of the General Conditions]. Subject to the condition that the upper age limit shall not exceed 50 (fifty) years in any case. For other conditions regarding age limit, see para 2 of the General Conditions (except para 2(i)).
Qualifications
1. Must have passed Pre-degree / Plus 2 with Science subjects from a recognized University / Board or equivalent qualification. 2. Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and three years experience in Audiometry in Government Hospitals or other recognized institutions. OR Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and one year experience in Audiometry in Government Hospitals or other recognized institutions.
Notes
Note: 1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. 2. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of the qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification. 3. In the event of a candidate claiming that the caste/community to which he/she belongs is different from the one entered in his/her SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard along with the Caste Certificate at the time of certificate verification. 4. Candidates are advised to refer to the General Conditions (Part II) regarding photo, ID card, etc.
