18 – 43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. ( In the case of those members belonging to Scheduled Castes who had converted to Christianity after adult age and their children , the upper age limit shall be 45 years ie ; candidates born between 02.01.1976 & 01.01.2003)( Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions). Note :- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification except para 2 (i).

1. A degree in Hindi conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Hindi awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Praveen of Dakshina Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha Madras with a pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Govt. Examination, Kerala or its equivalent. OR Sahityacharya of Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Govt. Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR Rashtra Bhasha Visarad (RBV) of the Dakshin Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR A pass in Hindi Bhooshan Examination of the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. 2) Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil / Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). Note 1 As per GO (P) No.15/2020/G.Edn dated 09/10/2020 MEd which is prescibed as a substitute for KTET need not be subject specific. 2 M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. 3 Rule 10 a (ii) of part II KS & SSR will be applicable to this post. 4 Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post.

i) Conventional type applications for the above post will be summarily rejected. Candidates can apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. In the case of those members belonging to Scheduled Castes who had converted to Christianity after adult age and their children , the upper age limit shall be 45 years ie ; candidates born between 02.01.1976 & 01.01.2003 .No rejection memo will be issued. iii) Separate Ranked lists will be prepared for each districts in pursuance of this notification for each community. NCA Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force for three years or until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following districts whichever is earlier. iv) Candidates shall submit application for the post to the concerned district where the vacancy is existing for their respective community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. Applications should not be sent to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction, and if the candidate is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. vi) In case of change in Caste/Community noted in the SSLC Book, candidates must claim their original Caste/Community in the application and shall produce Community Certificate/Non Creamy Layer Certificate as the case may be issued by the Revenue Authorities and the Gazette Notification publishing the change of Caste/Community at the time of OTR Verification for selection to the above post.
