18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.1995 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Diploma in Printing Technology/Engineering awarded by a University/Government after undergoing regular course of study for not less than three years or its equivalent.

Note:- Three percentage (3%) of the vacancies are reserved to the physically Handicapped persons. [Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy,Hearing impairment (for the post of Workshop Instructor), Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy,Hearing impairment, Low vision (for the post of Demonstrator) as per G.O.(P) No.1/13/SJD dated 03.01.2013.] Note:- Age relaxation will be allowed to Officers of Technical Education Department to the extent of their service in the Department, subject to a maximum period of ten years over and above the relaxation in age, if any allowed under general rules. In such cases, the maximum age shall not exceed fifty years.
