Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Ezhava and SC communities only)

(i) 18-39 Candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Ezhava community. (ii) 18-41 Candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of SC community. (including the age relaxation as per Para 2 (i) of General condition). (iii) Ex-servicemen are eligible for usual age relaxation.

(1) Must be a pensioned Junior Commissioned Officer of the Army or equivalent in the Navy or Air Force. OR (2) In the absence of candidates with qualifications mentioned in item (1) above, candidates with literacy in English and ten years Military Service in the Army, Navy or Air Force. OR (3) In the absence of qualified hands under item (1) and (2) above, SSLC or equivalent with six months Police or Military Training. Note : Rule 10 (a) ii of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.

(i) In the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates, Scheduled Tribe candidates will also be considered. (ii) Conventional type applications for the above post will be summarily rejected. Candidates can apply through online application available at the Kerala Public Service Commission website viz. www.keralapsc. gov.in (iii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to these candidates. (iv) Separate Ranked List will be prepared for the above districts in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following dates in following districts. Applications should not be sent to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction, and if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (vi) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in GO(Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years of continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in GO(MS) No. 4/61/PD dated, 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. Note:- (i) For concessions allowed in the upper age limit in the case of Ex-servicemen, please see para 2 (vi) of General Conditions under Part II of this notification. (ii) For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para 2 of General Conditions under Part II of this notification; except para 2 (i). Note:- (1) A working knowledge in Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada shall be an essential qualification. (2) Physically Handicapped candidates shall not be eligible to apply for the post. Hence sub para (x) on para (2) and para 5 of the General Conditions are not applicable to this post. (3) The candidates shall produce a Medical Certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon Grade II to prove the following physical qualification at the time of interview.
