Direct Recruitment (from Muslim, Scheduled Caste reservation communities only). Note :- Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than Muslim, Scheduled Caste will be summarily rejected. Individual communication regarding the rejection of their application will not be issued.
Age Limit
21-49; Muslim candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). 21-50; Scheduled Caste candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions) [For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see Part II, Paragraph 2 of the General Conditions except Para 2(i)].
Qualifications
1. Medical Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS) in the concerned subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission / NBE. 2. Three years Teaching Experience or such other teaching experience prescribed by the Medical Council of India. 3. Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council). Note: 1. Candidates who have acquired Post Graduate Degree through Residency Program shall be considered equivalent to teaching experience for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who have acquired Post Graduate Degree without Residency Program should produce a certificate from the Principal of the College where he/she studied stating that they have obtained teaching/clinical experience during the Post Graduate Degree course period. 2. Persons appointed to this post shall be liable to serve in the Defence Services or allied services of Defence in India or abroad for not less than four (4) years during the first ten (10) years (including training period) of their service. Persons who have completed 45 years of age and those belonging to Differently Abled category are exempted from this compulsory military service. 3. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Gazette Notification and such qualification as produced along with the application shall be accepted as equivalent to the qualification produced by the candidate and subjectivity to the conditions as published in Government orders / Bulletin shall be accepted at the time of verification.

4. Candidates should claim proper community/caste in the application and it should be noted in the SSLC book from which it is different and non-creamy layer/caste certificate along with Gazette Notification regarding caste change should be produced at the time of certificate verification. 5. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 6. Candidates who claim Experience Qualification should obtain Experience Certificate in the given format and enter details of experience (Certificate Number, date, name of post, period, name of issuing authority, name of institution etc.) and upload scanned image/declaration (for those who have experience but unable to obtain experience certificate due to Pandemic restrictions) of the same along with application. Candidates should produce Experience Certificate as and when called for by the Commission. [Experience Certificate format is provided in the PDF notification] 8. Method of Submitting Application: (a) Candidates must register as per 'One Time Registration' with the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Registered candidates can login using their User ID and profile password. Application link 'Apply Now' can be seen against the notification under each notified post. Uploaded photograph should be taken after 31.12.2011. Name of the candidate and date of photograph taken should be clearly printed at the bottom of the photograph. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. No application fee is required. Candidates must ensure correctness of their personal information and password. Candidates are advised to take printout of the online application for future use. Applications that are submitted not in accordance with the instructions given in the notification will be summarily rejected. (b) Appropriate confirmatory action (Confirmation) should be submitted through One Time Registration profile for writing the examination/written test. Only those who submit confirmation can download admission tickets. (c) Appropriate penal action as per Rules of Procedure Rule 22 will be taken against those candidates who give false claims regarding qualifications/experience and submit confirmation for writing the examination but remain absent or fail to appear. (d) Candidates who have Aadhar Card should enter Aadhar Card as ID proof in their profile.
