Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava –1 (One) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava Community but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked list published on 05.09.2008 for the post.

20-44 Only candidates born between 02.01.1970 and 01.01.1994 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the general condition) (For conditions regarding age relaxations,please see Para 2 (except 2(i) of part II General Conditions).

1. Degree in Bio Medical Engineering/Technology or any other qualifications recognised by Government as equivalent thereto with not less than 60% marks in the qualifying examination. 2. 8 (Eight) years experience in Engineering profession of which at least 3 (Three) years should be teaching experience as Lecturer not below the Diploma Level in recognised/approved Institution.

Note: 1. Diploma in Bio Medical Engineering/Technology obtained after undergoing a regular course of study for not less than three years with 60% marks in the qualifying examination and a pass in Sections Aand B of AMIE will be considered as equivalent to a Degree in Engineering. 2. In the case of First or Second class Post Graduate Degree holders in Bio Medical Engineering/Technology, the prescribed 60% marks in the concerned branch for the basic degree will not be insisted upon. 3. The total marks of all the years/semesters of Engineering/Technology course in which University examinations are conducted shall be taken into account in calculating the 60% marks. 4. Percentage of marks obtained for the qualifying examination and details of experience should be furnished in the column prescribed for noting qualification in the application. Branch of Engineering /Technology should also be noted in bracket along with qualification. 5. Experience claimed by the candidates shall be the one gained after acquiring the basic qualifications prescribed for the post. 6. The veracity of the Experience Certificate will be subjected to scrutiny and those who issue or produce bogus certificate will be subjected to legal proceedings. The experience certificate obtained from private institutions shall be got counter signed by an authorised officer of the State/Central Government. (Candidates should produce experience Certificate in the format appended below). Mode of submitting Applications: Before applying for the post, candidates should register as per “ONE TIME REGISTRATION” scheme through the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in. Those who have already registered can apply by logging into their profile using his/her user ID and password. No application fee is required. Candidates can view, rectify defects and print the details in the registration card after entering the home page. Candidates are responsible to ensure correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password and they shall keep in mind the user ID for further communication with the commission. Applications which are submitted not in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, age, community etc have to be produced as and when called for.
