Direct Recruitment (From among candidates belonging to SIUC Nadar, Dheevara, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava communities only).

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Note :- Maximium age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years consequent to any relaxation or other provisions. For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see Para 2 of the General Conditions (except Para 2(i)).

1) Pass in S.S.L.C. Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR A Pass in Pre-Degree examination or equivalent qualification recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. OR A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. 2) A pass in T.T.C (Tamil) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR Degree in any subject and B.Ed/BT/LT (Tamil) conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. Note: As per G.O(RT) No.3280/13/G.Edn. dated 05.08.2013, D.Ed (Diploma in Teacher Education) is considered as equivalent to TTC, G.O(RT) No.1700/18/G.Edn dated 05.05.2018 & G.O(RT) No.2009/18/G.Edn dated 30.05.2018 D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) is renamed as D.Ed. Hence holders of D.Ed/D.El.Ed qualifications are eligible to apply for this post. Exemption:- 1. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016 and G.O.(P) No.15/2020/G Edn Dated 9.10.2020). 2. Candidates who have passed CTET Primary Stage are exempted from KTET Category I and CTET Elementary Stage are exempted from KTET Category II based on the circular No.1866829/J3/2017/General Education dated 09.03.2018. CTET will not be accepted as equivalent to KTET Category III and IV.

Applications that are not submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in the Notification will be summarily rejected. Candidates should write the Examination/OMR Test in Tamil. Answer scripts written in languages other than Tamil will be invalidated.
