Direct Recruitment (From Ex-servicemen candidates belonging to above reservation communities only).

1) 18-41. Only ST candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post [including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions]. 2) 18-39. Only SCCC candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post [including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions]. Note: In the case of adult members belonging to Scheduled Caste and their children who had converted to Christianity after becoming a major, the upper age limit shall be 41 years ie, Candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2006. Note:- 1) For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years of age, please see para 2 of General Condition under Part II of this notification.

(1) Should have passed standard VII and should not have acquired any Graduation. (2) Should be an Ex-serviceman. Note: i) Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. ii) Service in Border Security Force (BSF), Defence Security Corps (DSC), Assam Rifles, General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF), Jammu and Kashmir Militia and Lok Sahayak Sewa will not be treated as Military Service as shown in G.O(P)No. 399/77 /GAD dated 26.11.1977. iii)Candidates possessing Military Graduation Certificate are eligible to apply for this post as per G.O(P)No.5/2018/P&ARD dated 19.04.2018. iv)The following personnel who have served in the Territorial Army will be considered as Ex-serviceman. a) Personnel of the Territorial Army, namely, pension holders for continuous embodied service or broken spell of qualifying service. b) Gallantry award winners of the Armed forces including personnel of Territorial Army. c) Ex-recruits boarded out or relieved on medical ground and granted medical disability pension. Those who produce an authentic document proving that they belong to anyone of the above three categories will be considered for selection. v) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government Orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.

Probation:- Every person appointed to a category shall be on probation for a total period of one year on duty within a continuous period of three years. (i) This is the second NCA notification for the post for Thiruvananthapuram and Kottayam districts due to non availability of ST candidates in the I NCA notified vide Cat.No. 242/2022 and for Kannur district due to non availability of SCCC candidates in the I NCA notified vide Cat.No. 246/2022 in the gazette dated 15/06/2022. (ii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be subject to the rules amended as per G.O(P)No.12/2016/P&ARD dated 04.06.2016. (iii) A Ranked List will be prepared for the above district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the above identified vacancy earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates for selection till date from the ranked list published for the post. (iv) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated, 27/05/1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(P)No.36/91/P&ARD dated 02/12/1991. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (v) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to those candidates. 11. If a Written Test/OMR/Online Examination is conducted as a part of this selection, candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their 'One Time Registration' profile. Such candidates alone can generate and download the Admission Tickets in the last 15 days till the date of test. The applications of candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated period will be rejected absolutely. 12. Special Instructions to Candidates: 1. In the case of difference in Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a gazette notification in this regard, along with Community Certificate/Non Creamy Layer Certificate at the time of certificate verification. 2. Candidates are required to acquaint themselves with the instructions given in the notification as Part II, General Conditions before submitting application for the post. 3. Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure 1976 shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc.
