18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation up to 50 years. (For other age relaxations, please refer to Part-2 of the General Conditions of the notification).

(1) Degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. (2) Degree or Diploma in Library Science.

Note (a): KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. Note (b): Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce Government Order/Equivalence Certificate proving the equivalence of the qualification at the time of certificate verification. Note (c): In cases where the caste/community claimed in the application differs from that recorded in the SSLC book, the candidate must produce a Gazette notification regarding the change of name/caste along with the Non-Creamy Layer/Caste Certificate at the time of certificate verification. - Candidates must submit applications through the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in after One Time Registration. - Candidates who have already registered can apply through their profile using User ID and Password. - Candidates must ensure that the photo uploaded is taken after 31.12.2012 and has the name and date of taking the photo clearly marked at the bottom. - Candidates must take a printout of the application from their OTR profile for future use. - If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their OTR profile. Only those who submit confirmation will be able to download the admission ticket. - Candidates must provide their Aadhaar card as an identity document in their profile.
