Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only). Note:- Applications submitted by candidates other than Scheduled Tribe will be rejected. Individual communication regarding the rejection of their application will not be issued.
Age Limit
18 – 41 [Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply]. (No other age relaxation will be allowed). Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within the given age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But in any case the maximum age shall not exceed 50 (Fifty) years.
Qualifications
I) Pass in VII standard (New) or equivalent qualification. ii) Not less than 3 years experience in the Armed Forces (Army, Navy or Air Force). iii) Must know cycling. iv) Height : 168 cms. v) Chest : Ordinary - 81 cms. Expanded - 86 cms. Note: 1) Women are not eligible to be appointed to this post. 2) Rule 10 (a) ii of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 3) Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the Government Order proving equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the qualification concerned. 4) Appropriate disciplinary/consequential action will be initiated against those candidates who give wrong details about caste on the application, claiming the benefit of reservation, and produce necessary caste certificate from the Revenue Authorities or Gazette Notification to prove their caste at the time of verification.
Notes
1. Women are not eligible to be appointed to this post. 2. The Ranked List prepared and published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list is published after the expiry of the minimum period of one year. Vacancies reported in this list shall be filled up for Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribes only in writing and advertised in the event of paucity of candidates during the validity of the list. 3. Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification and experience and subsequently give confirmation for writing the examination, irrespective of whether they attend or not.
