Age Limit
18 - 41 Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (No other relaxation in age is allowed). Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within the prescribed age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But in no case the age shall exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
(1) Degree in Sociology/Social Work, Home Science or Psychology from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). OR (2) Degree in any other subject from a recognized University with Balasevika Training Certificate for a duration of one year given by Indian/State Council for Child Welfare or any other recognized institution or Pre-Primary Teacher's Training Certificate from a recognized institution. Note:- 1. Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 2. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification. 3. In case of difference in caste noted in the SSLC Book and that claimed in the application, the candidate shall produce a Community Certificate issued by the Revenue Authority and Gazette Notification to prove the same at the time of certificate verification.
Notes
Candidates must register as per 'One Time Registration' with the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall login using their User ID and password. Profile photo uploaded should be taken after 31.12.2010. Name of the candidate and date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded has validity of 10 years from the date of photograph taken. Candidates shall create Aadhar Card as ID proof in their profile. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than Scheduled Tribes will be summarily rejected. No individual memo will be issued in this regard.
