24-41. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included). SC/ST and other backward communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For conditions regarding age relaxation, see Part-2 of the General Conditions).

(1) Post Graduate Degree (MDS) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from a University recognized by the Dental Council of India. (2) Permanent Registration with State Dental Council. (3) Three years of teaching experience.

Note: (1) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. (2) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications recognized by the Government as equivalent to the prescribed qualification or higher qualifications shall be accepted. The Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications should be produced at the time of verification by the Commission. (3) Residency program period for candidates who have obtained Post Graduate Degree through Residency program will be considered as teaching experience for the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who have obtained Post Graduate Degree without Residency program should produce a certificate from the Principal of the college where they studied, stating that they have obtained teaching/clinical experience during their Post Graduate study period. (4) Temporary registration with any Medical Council will not be considered. (5) Candidates claiming experience qualification should produce an experience certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure A or B) containing details (Certificate Number, Date, Name of Post, Period, Name of Issuing Authority, Name of Institution, etc.) and upload the scanned image. Only then will the application be accepted. However, candidates should produce the experience certificate at the time of verification by the Commission. (6) Experience certificates will be subjected to verification and legal action will be taken against candidates who produce fake experience certificates.
