18-40. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2007 (Both dates included). SC/ST candidates and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. Note :- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification.

1) A Degree in Sanskrit and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the universities in Kerala. OR A title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. A title of Oriental Learning in the concerned language awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala shall also be accepted in lieu of Degree , if these titles have been declared as equivalent to Part III of the Degree. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET III) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Exemption: 1. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects or M.Ed are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O.(P) No.145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O.(P) No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). As per GO(P)No.15/2020/G.Edn dated 09.10.2020, M Ed which is prescribed as a substitute for KTET need not be subject specific. 2. As per G.O.(P)No.6/2024/GEDN dtd 01.02.2024, CTET (Primary stage & Elementary stage) will not be considered against KTET Category III.

Note:- One (1) vacancy for the post of Part Time High School Teacher (Sanskrit) in Education Department in Wayanad district set apart as per RPWD Act 2016 due to the non availability of candidates belonging to DA-Low Vision Category, in the previous Ranked List for this post, will be filled up from the candidates in the same DA Category from the Ranked List published for Wayanad District as per this Notification. If candidates are not available in the same DA category, the vacancy will be filled up from other available DA categories and in the absence of DA candidates, the vacancy will be filled up from General Category. (i) Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. (ii) Separate Ranked lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked lists thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said lists will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the aforesaid vacancies and also against the vacancies, if any, reported during the currency of the lists. (iii) Candidates shall submit application for the post to any one of the above mentioned districts and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction, and if the candidate is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (iv) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. But as per the G.O.(P)No.12/96/ P&ARD dated 16.3.1996 the conditions of 5 years Service is not applicable for transfer to the districts Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And these concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt. Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (v) 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide G.O.(P) No.13/2024/SJD dated 17.10.2024.
