Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Dheevara community only).

21 - 45; Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Other age relaxation as per General Conditions).

(1) Degree in Modern Medicine or equivalent qualification. (Equivalent qualification means the qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India as equivalent.) (2) Registration with the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council.

1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. 2. Candidates appointed to this post shall be liable to serve for a period of 4 (four) years (including training period) within the first 10 years of their service in the Defence Services or in assignments relating to Defence anywhere in India or abroad. This compulsory service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and to the differently abled. 3. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order/Certificate from the concerned institution proving the equivalency at the time of verification. 4. Candidates claiming caste/community in the application which differs from the entry in the SSLC book must produce a Gazette notification regarding the change of caste along with the Non-Creamy Layer/Caste Certificate at the time of certificate verification. 5. Differently abled candidates (Blind, Low Vision, Cerebral Palsy, Locomotor Disability) are eligible to apply as per GO(P) No.61/2012/SWD dated 17.10.2012. However, candidates with Hearing Impairment are not eligible for this post. 6. Applications from candidates not belonging to the specified community will be rejected. No separate intimation will be given. 7. Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31/12/2011 with the name and date of taking the photo clearly marked at the bottom. The photo is valid for 10 years. 8. Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. 9. Candidates must provide confirmation for the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who provide confirmation can download the admission ticket. 10. Candidates who submit false claims regarding education, experience, etc., and then fail to appear for the examination after providing confirmation will face disciplinary action as per Rules of Procedure Rule 22. 11. Candidates having Aadhar card should provide it as an identity document in their profile.
