25-45; Candidates born between 02/01/1976 and 01/01/1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation for SC/ST and Other Backward Communities is applicable.
Qualifications
1. DM/DNB in Paediatric Nephrology. In the absence of the above, MD/DNB in Paediatrics and DM/DNB in Nephrology. 2. Three years of teaching experience as a Resident in Paediatric Nephrology in a recognized Medical College. 3. Permanent Registration with State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council).
Notes
Note 1: The vacancy shown is currently existing. The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new Ranked List is published before the expiry of the minimum period of one year, the current list will cease to exist. Appointments will be made from the existing vacancy and vacancies reported during the currency of the list. Note 2: Candidates appointed to this post shall serve for four (4) years in the Defence Services or on assignments relating to Defence effort anywhere in India or abroad, within the first ten (10) years of their service (including training period). This compulsory military service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and to differently-abled candidates. Note (a): Teaching experience gained during the period of Post Graduate study through a residency program will be considered as teaching experience for the appointment of Assistant Professor. Candidates who have obtained PG degree without a residency program must produce a certificate from the Principal of the college where they studied, stating that they have obtained teaching/clinical experience during their PG study period. Note (b): KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Note (c): Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. Note (d): Candidates claiming a different caste/community than recorded in their SSLC book must produce a Gazette notification regarding the change along with their Non-Creamy Layer/Caste certificate at the time of document verification.
