Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Viswakarma community of Kerala State only) Note:-Application of candidates belonging to the community other than Viswakarma Community will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to these candidates.

18 – 39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are only eligible to apply for this post. [Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions]. Note: For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification [except Para 2 (i)].

1. A pass in Form III or Standard VIII(New) or equivalent. 2. Experience as Electrical Line Helper or as Lascar for at least a period of One year. Note :- (i) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable for selection to this post. (ii) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during OTR verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post.

(i) The above vacancy is now in existence. A Ranked List will be prepared for Thiruvananthapuram District in pursuance of this notification for the above community. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force for a period of three years from the date of publication of ranked list or until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district whichever is earlier. (ii) The candidates belonging to above reservation community shall submit application for the post to Thiruvananthapuram district where the vacancy is existing and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application. (iii) The second NCA notification is issued due to paucity of qualified candidates belonging to Viswakarma community after the issuance of First NCA notification vide category no.498/2017. (iv) In case of change in Caste/Community noted in the SSLC book, candidates must claim their original caste/community in the application and shall produce Non Creamy Layer Certificate/Community Certificate issued by the Revenue Authorities and the original gazette notification publishing the change of caste /community at the time of OTR verifcation for selection to the above post. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G O (MS) No.4/61/PD, dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (vi) Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. (vii) If Written Test/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. (viii) Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure,1976 shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc and submit confirmation for writing the examination, irrespective of whether they are present or absent for the examination. (ix) Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile.
