OR Diploma in Painting issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR Group Diploma in Drawing (KGTE or MGTE) OR National Diploma in Applied Arts issued by the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram OR Bachelor of Fine Arts preparatory Examination of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A Degree in Painting of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A Degree in Applied Arts of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A (Condensed) Degree in Painting of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A. (Sculpture) of the University of Kerala OR Certificate course Examination in Commercial Art issued by the Government of Kerala OR National Diploma in Fine Arts (5 year course) awarded by the commissioner for Government Examinations/ Director of Technical Education OR Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Fine Arts 3 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016) As per Government Circular No.1866829/J3/2017/G.Edn dated 09/03/2018,exemptions are given to those who have passed C-TET Primary stage from K-TET Category I and C-TET Elementary stage from K-TET Category II .Based on the above condition, C-TET will not be considered against K-TET Category III & IV.

(i) Conventional type applications for the above post Candidates can apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (iii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for Palakkad district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force for three years from the date of publication of NCA Ranked List or until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district whichever is earlier . Name of District Date of publication of Ranked List Category No. PALAKKAD 03/12/20 417/2017 (iv) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five (5) years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five (5) years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. But as per the GO(P)No 12/96/P&ARD dated 16/03/1996 the condition of Five (5) years is not applicable for transfer to Idukki, Wayanad and Kasargod districts.The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for grtting transfer out of these districts.And this condition will be granted only once in the career of a Government Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (v) The Candidates belonging to above reservation communities shall submit application for the post to the Palakkad district and note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application. (vi) In case of change in Caste/Community noted in the SSLC Book, candidates must claim their original Caste/Community in the application and shall produce Community Certificate/Non Creamy Layer Certificate as the case may be issued by the Revenue Authorities and the Gazette Notification publishing the change of Caste/Community at the time of OTR Verification for selection to the above post or as and when required by the Commission.
