18-43. Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note: Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years.

1. SSLC or equivalent qualification. 2. Group Certificate in Drawing (KGTE/MGTE) OR Certificate in Drawing and Painting (2 years course) issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR Diploma in Painting issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR Group Diploma in Drawing (KGTE/MGTE) OR National Diploma in Applied Arts issued by the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram. OR Bachelor of Fine Arts (Preparatory) Examination of the University of Kerala. OR Degree in B.F.A (Painting) of the University of Kerala. OR Degree in B.F.A (Applied Arts) of the University of Kerala. OR Degree in B.F.A (Painting) (Condensed) of the University of Kerala. OR Degree in B.F.A (Sculpture) of the University of Kerala. OR Certificate Course Examination in Commercial Art issued by the Government of Kerala. OR National Diploma in Fine Arts (5 years course) awarded by the Commissioner of Examinations or Director of Technical Education. OR Certificate Examination in Fine Arts issued by the Government of Kerala. 3. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post.

(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No individual memo will be issued for rejection. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for Palakkad district in pursuance of this notification. (iii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on the basis of a communal reservation issued under rule 154 of Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules 1958. (iv) Candidates shall submit applications-online through the Official website of Kerala Public Service Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in). (v) Photographs uploaded should be taken on or after 31.12.2012 and should have the name of the candidate and date of photo taken at the bottom. Name and date specified should be legible. The photograph once uploaded shall have a validity of 10 years from the date of uploading.
