Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment. (From among the qualified candidates belonging to the reservation communities mentioned above in Kerala State.) Note: Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those included in this notification will be summarily rejected without further notice.
Age Limit
a) 18-45, Candidates belonging to SC community must be born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). b) 18-43, Candidates belonging to LC/AI & OBC communities must be born between 01.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Note: 1. For conditions regarding the upper age limit not exceeding 50 years, please refer to Part 2 General Conditions of this notification. 2. Relaxations in upper age limit for provisional employees of 29 co-operative institutions as per G.O.(P) No. 41/98 dated 09.03.1998 up to a maximum of 5 years based on the length of service.
Qualifications
i) Degree from a recognized University with not less than 50% marks and Higher Diploma in Co-operation [HDC from Kerala State Co-operation Union or HDC & BM or HDC and HDC-CM from National Council for Cooperative Training or successfully completed Subordinate (Junior) Personnel Co-operative Training Course (Junior) Diploma in Co-operation]. OR B.Sc. Degree in Co-operation and Banking from Kerala Agricultural University. OR B.Com. Degree with Co-operation with not less than 50% marks from a recognized University in Kerala. ii) Preference will be given to candidates possessing MBA/CA/M.Com/M.Sc. in Co-operation and Banking from Kerala Agricultural University. Note: 1. All qualifications must be acquired on or before the last date of receipt of applications. 2. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii)c is applicable. 3. Equivalent qualifications must be supported by Government Orders produced at the time of one-time verification.
Notes
i) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each community in each district pursuant to this notification. ii) Candidates shall submit applications only to the District Co-operative Bank of the member society where they are working. Submitting applications to more than one district will lead to rejection of applications and disciplinary action. iii) SC/ST/OBC certificate and non-creamy layer certificate along with Gazette notification must be produced as and when required by the Commission. iv) Rules regarding confirmation, written/OMR/online test, and penalty for false claims as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure are applicable.
