18-40; [Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates. Must possess M.A./M.Sc./M.Com or MSW Degree of a recognised University. Note: Preference will be given to candidates with MSW or Post-graduate Degree in Social Welfare, Sociology or Anthropology (G.O(P)NO.18/2010/SCSTDD dtd 20.02.2010

Note 1: The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancy noted above and also against the vacancies that may be reported to the Commission during the period of the currency of the list. Note 2: 4% vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates as per G.O(P) No.02/2025/SJD dated 31.05.2025. (a)Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. (b) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the government orders declaring equivalent or higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. (c) The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an Act passed by the Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the condition laid down in G.O.(M.S)No.526/PD dated 17/07/1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. Training: Every person appointed to this post shall undergo a training for a period of 3 months. Only after successful completion of training they will be posted as scheduled Castes Development Officer Grade II. The Director of Scheduled Cast Development Department will arrange the placing. The Candidate will be eligible for the minimum of the pay and allowances in the scale of the pay and allowances he/she would have drawn but for his/her appointment as scheduled Castes Development Officer Grade II, whichever is higher. The period of training will not be counted either for probation or for increment. Probation: Every person appointed to this post shall from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Test: A candidate appointed to this post shall, during the period of probation, pass the following tests, unless he has already passed these test (i) Manual of Office Procedure (ii) Account Test (Lower) (iii)Hand Book of Scheduled Castes Development Department
