By Transfer (from qualified Staff in the Ministerial Subordinate Service of the Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary Education Department.) The total number of vacancies reported for the post of Vocational Instructor shall be filled up by the method of (i) By promotion from qualified Lab Assistants (ii) By transfer from qualified staff in the Ministerial Subordinate Service in the department and (iii) By Direct recruitment in the ratio 2:1:7 If sufficient number of qualified persons are not available under item (i) or (ii) above such vacancy shall also be filled up by Direct recruitment as per GO(P)No.81/04/Gl.Edn dated 12.03.2004.

Only candidates born on or before 01.01.1996 are eligible to apply for this post. Upper age limit is not applicable for By Transfer category.

A pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Course (Agriculture) conducted by Government of Kerala and B.Sc with Botany as an optional subject awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.

Note :1 The Ranked List published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the 10% vacancies noted above and that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of the currency of the list. Note:- 1) All the educational qualifications for teaching posts should be one acquired after a regular course of study from a recognised University in Kerala or its equivalent. 2) If sufficient number of candidates are not available from the Ministerial staff of the department the vacancies reserved for them will be filled up from open market (Direct recruitment) 3) The candidates who apply for both the direct recruitment and By Transfer recruitment should submit separate applications. 4) The rules regarding reservation of appointment contemplated in the articles 14 to 17 of part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1958 are not applicable to appointment By Transfer method. 5) The applicant should be a regular ministerial staff of the Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary Education Subordinate Service. They should obtain a certificate from the Head of office showing their service particulars in the form given on Annexure of the notification and produce the same as and when required by the Commission. 6) Persons appointed through employment exchange or otherwise and working in temporary/provisional basis are not eligible to apply for the post in response to the notification. 7) The Commission shall conduct a common test for the candidates who apply for By Transfer method of recruitment and by Direct recruitment and separate Ranked lists will be published for both categories. Note : Rule 10 (a) ii of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
