1) S.S.L.C. or its equivalent (Go (MS)No.232/2009/G.Edn dated 30.11.2009 ). 2) A Degree in Sanskrit conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala OR A title of Oriental learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognized by any one of the Universities in Kerala. OR Oriental School leaving certificate (Sanskrit) issued by the Government of Kerala. OR A Pass in the preliminary examination in Sanskrit conducted by any one of the Universities in Kerala. OR A Pass in the Pre-University or Pre-Degree Examination from the Sanskrit College affiliated to the Universities in Kerala. OR A Pass in Sanskrit Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR A Pass in the Pre-Degree Examination with Sanskrit (Sahitya) and Sanskrit (Sastra) as Optional subjects conducted by the Arts or Science Colleges affiliated to the Universities in Kerala. OR A pass in plus 2 course conducted by the Kerala Higher Secondary Directorate with Sanskrit (Sahitya), Sanskrit (Sasthra), History and Economics as combination. (GO(MS)No.155/2007/G.Edn dated 17.08.2007 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Exemption: 1. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). 2. The Employees of the General Education Department who have entered in Service before 31.03.2012 and have completed the prescribed period of Service as Clerk, Typist,Attender/Office Attendant are exempted from acquiring KTET qualification. GO (MS) No. 134/2017/G. Edn. Dated 30.10.2017. 4) The candidate should have service not less than 5 years as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/Full Time Menial in the General Education Department as on the date of application. (G.O (P) No.129/2011/G.Edn dated 31.05.2011& GO(MS) No.69/2021/G.Edn dated 16.02.2021 ).

i) Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. ii) In the absence of suitable candidates, the vacancies set apart for By Transfer recruitment shall be filled up by the candidates from the Ranked List prepared for Direct recruitment. iii) The applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service as on the date of application. iv) A ranked list will be prepared for Thrissur district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against aforesaid vacancies and also against the vacancies, if any, reported during the currency of the lists. In case no candidate is advised from the ranked list till the expiry of the period of three years, the duration of the ranked list shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised from the list whichever is earlier. v) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD, dated 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. But as per G.O. (P) No.12/96/P&ARD dated 16.3.1996 the condition of 5 years service is not applicable for transfer to the districts of Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts, but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Government Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. vi) Candidates should apply to the Thrissur District in response to this notification and should note the name of the district against the relevant column of the application. vii) The rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in Rules 14 to 17 in Part II of the KS & SSR are not applicable to recruitment by transfer. Note on Qualifications: i) As per circular No. 1866829/J3/2017/Gen. Dated 09.03.2018 exemptions are given to those who have passed CTET primary stage from KTET- Category- I and CTET Elementary stage from KTET- Category- II . Based on the above condition , CTET will not be considered against KTET- Category- III & IV . ii) As per GO (P) No.15/2020/G. Edn dated 09.10.2020 MEd which is prescribed as a substitute for KTET need not be subject specific. iii) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. iv) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post. v) Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR will be applicable. Service Certificate: Applicants should obtain a Service Certificate (In Original) in the form prescribed below from the Head of Office / Department and should upload the same in their profile and produce as and when called for.
