Direct Recruitment (From among the candidates belonging to the SCCC Community).

22-48; [Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2002(both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. (Including the age relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions.) Note:- Members belonging to Scheduled Caste who had converted to Christianity after attaining adulthood and their children are eligible for age relaxation up to 50 years. Such candidates should be born between 02/01/1974 and 01/01/2002(both dates included) (including the relaxation in para 2(i) of the General Conditions).For other conditions regarding the age relaxation please see Part II, Para 2 of the General Condition except Para 2(i).

I.MD/DNB in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation OR MS/MD/DNB 1. General Medicine with Diploma in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2. General Surgery 3. Orthopaedics with Three Year Special Training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in a teaching Institution/ Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in the Speciality. II. One Year Experience as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a NMC recognized Medical College after acquiring Post Graduate Degree. III. Permanent Registration under Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC)/ Council for Modern Medicine

Note:-Applications of candidates belonging to communities other than SCCC will be summarily rejected. Individual communication regarding the rejection of their application will not be issued (a)Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. (b) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. (c) Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the first ten (10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under Defence Services connected with Defence, if required. Differently abled candidates and those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the above compulsory Military Service.
