Age Limit
18-36. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). The upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years (including all relaxations). Refer to the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification for special age relaxations.
Qualifications
(1) Pass in SSLC or equivalent. (2) Lower Grade Certificate in Malayalam Typewriting (KGTE). (3) Lower Grade Certificate in English Typewriting (KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or equivalent. (IMC certificate in Typewriting is not accepted). Candidates who have passed KGTE English Typewriting Lower before January 2002 without Computer Word Processing or equivalent must acquire the certificate before the last date of application (GO(MS)No.21/11/P&ARD dtd.01.07.2011). All qualifications must be acquired before the last date of application. Discharge Certificate must be produced when required by the Commission.
Notes
Notes: (i) Separate rank lists will be prepared for each district. Vacancies in NCC/Sainik Welfare departments in these districts will be filled from the respective district-wise rank lists. The rank list remains valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. (ii) Candidates appointed from the district-wise rank list cannot be transferred to another district for five years from the date of joining. After five years, inter-district transfer is subject to GO(P) 36/1991/P&ARD dated 02.12.1991. Those already in government service for this post in any district are not eligible to apply. (iii) Appointments will also be made to headquarters vacancies. Candidates are eligible for inter-district transfer as per GO(MS) 442/80/GAD dated 26-9-1980. However, as this is exclusively for Ex-servicemen, inter-departmental transfer is not allowed as per GO(MS) 51/90/GAD dated 22.11.1990. (iv) Candidates should apply to only one district. Applying to more than one district will lead to rejection of applications and disciplinary action. (v) 4% vacancies are reserved for differently-abled candidates. Refer to GO(P) No.19/2020/SJD dated 25.08.2020 for details. (vi) In case of discrepancy in caste details in SSLC book, a caste certificate/non-creamy layer certificate from the revenue authority along with a gazette notification must be produced when required. (vii) Equivalency certificates must be produced when required. (viii) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. (ix) Candidates must provide Aadhaar card details in their profile.
