District-wise

Direct Recruitment. (From qualified Ex-Servicemen belonging to the above mentioned reservation communities only)

1. 18-39. Candidates belonging to Muslim, Dheevara, SIUC Nadar, Hindu Nadar, OBC, SCCC communities should be born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). [including the relaxations in Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions] 2. 18-41. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe communities should be born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). [including the relaxations in Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions] Note:- For those who were converted from Scheduled Caste to Christianity after attaining majority, the upper age limit is 41 years and such candidates should be born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). Note:- In no case the upper age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years. For other relaxations allowed under this notification, please see Part II of the General Conditions (Para 2).

i) Must have passed Standard VII and should not have acquired any graduation. ii) Must be an Ex-Serviceman. Note:- i) KS & SSR Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. ii) Service rendered in Border Security Force (BSF), Defence Security Corps (DSC), Assam Rifles, General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF), Jammu & Kashmir Militia, Lok Sahayak Sena etc. as per G.O.(P) No.399/77/GAD dated 26.11.1977 will not be reckoned as Military Service. iii) Candidates claiming Equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving equivalency at the time of OTR verification, otherwise such qualification will not be considered.

(i) The notification is prepared in accordance with the amendments made in the Special Rules as per G.O.(P) No.12/2016/P&ARD dated 04.06.2016. (ii) Candidates must submit applications online only through the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted otherwise will be summarily rejected. (iii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the communities, unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post or till the publication of a new NCA Ranked List whichever is earlier. (iv) The selection pursuant to this notification will be subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.71. A person selected from the district-wise ranked list will not be allowed to transfer from one district to another for a continuous period of 5 years from the date of commencement of service in the district. Persons already in government service in the same post in any district are not eligible to apply for this notification. However, they can apply when notification for higher post is invited. (v) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall not apply for more than one district in response to this notification. Applications submitted in contravention of this direction will be liable to be rejected and disciplinary action will be taken against them. (vi) If the community claimed by the candidate in the SSLC Book differs from the community noted in the application, such changes should be published in the Gazette and the same along with the Caste/Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the Revenue Authority should be produced at the time of One Time Verification or when required by the Commission. (vii) Candidates must upload a photograph taken after 31.12.2012 with name of the candidate and date of photograph taken clearly visible. The photograph once uploaded shall have a validity of 10 years from the date of uploading. No application fee is required. (viii) Candidates must retain the soft copy/print out of online application for future use. Candidates must produce the print out of the application to the Commission along with other documents if required. (ix) Candidates possessing Aadhar Card should provide the same as ID proof in their profile.
