Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment. (From among the candidates belonging to Hindu Nadar and Viswakarma reservation communities only).
Age Limit
21-49; Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note:- For other conditions regarding age limit please see Para 2 of the General Conditions except Para 2(i).
Qualifications
1. M.D. Forensic Medicine or DNB Forensic Medicine. 2. Three years Teaching Experience or other Teaching Experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. 3. Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council). NB: Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order/Equivalent Certificate (if already issued) proving equivalency at the time of Verification, failing which such qualification will not be treated as equivalent.
Notes
Note:- 1. The period of training undergone by candidates who have obtained Post Graduate Degree through Residency Program will be considered as teaching experience for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who have obtained Post Graduate Degree without Residency Program should produce a certificate from the Principal of the college where they have studied, to the effect that they have obtained teaching/clinical experience during the Post Graduate study period. 2. Persons appointed to the post should serve in the Defence Services or on defence related jobs in India or abroad for four years (including training period) within the first ten years of their service. This condition is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and differently abled candidates. 3. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable.
