Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Viswakarma communities only). Note:- Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No individual memo will be issued rejecting such applications.
Age Limit
(1) 21-49; Candidates belonging to Viswakarma community born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General Conditions). (2) 21-50; Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General Conditions). Note:- For other conditions regarding age limit, please see Para 2 of the General Conditions except Para 2(i).
Qualifications
1. D.M (Cardiology)/ DNB (Cardiology). 2. Three years Teaching Experience or such other teaching experience prescribed by the Medical Council of India. 3. Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council). NB: Candidates claiming Experience Qualification should obtain Experience Certificate in the prescribed format and enter details of experience (Certificate Number, date, name of post, period, name of issuing authority, etc.) and upload the scanned image/declaration (In view of the current pandemic situation, those who are unable to obtain the experience certificate can upload the declaration) along with the application. Candidates shall produce the experience certificate as and when called for by the Commission.
Notes
1. The teaching period of getData/Post Graduate studies acquired through Residency Program shall be considered as teaching experience for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who have acquired Post Graduate Degree without Residency Program should produce a certificate from the Principal of the College where he/she has studied stating that the candidate has got teaching /clinical experience during the Post Graduate study period. 2. Persons appointed under this provision should serve in the Defence Services or on jobs connected with Defence work anywhere in India or abroad, if required, for the first ten (10) years (including period of training) of service. This compulsory national service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and to those belonging to Differently Abled category. 3. Concession regarding equivalency of qualification shall not be considered. Government Order/ Equivalency Certificate (if equivalency is mentioned in the notification) shall be produced along with verification at the time of certificate verification. 4. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 5. Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' before applying for the post.
