18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. SC/ST and other backward communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Part 2 of the General Conditions).

(1) Pass in SSLC or its equivalent. (2) Pass in Dental Hygienist Course conducted by the Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram or its equivalent.

Note: 1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. 2. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of the qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order/Equivalency Certificate (if the qualification is specified as equivalent) at the time of verification to prove that it is equivalent to the prescribed qualification. 3. In the case of difference in original caste/community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate at the time of certificate verification. 4. As per G.O.(P) No.01/13/SJD dated 03.01.2013, differently abled candidates with Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment are eligible to apply. However, Blind and Low Vision candidates are not eligible for this post. 5. Candidates must confirm their attendance for written/OMR/online examination through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who confirm their attendance will be eligible to download the admission ticket. Candidates who fail to confirm their attendance within the stipulated time will have their applications rejected. Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against candidates who make false claims regarding qualifications and experience and then fail to appear for the examination after confirming their attendance, as per Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure. 6. Candidates having Aadhar card should enter it as ID proof in their profile. 7. Applications submitted in violation of the notification conditions will be summarily rejected at any stage of the selection process. Copies of documents proving educational qualification, experience, caste, age, etc., should be produced when required by the Commission.
