Scientific Assistant (Physiotherapy)

(18-36). Candidates should be born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions.)

General:- Pass in Plus Two/Pre-Degree or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. Special Qualifications: 1) Degree in MPT from a University recognized by UGC or from Central Universities or from National Institutes or from institutions recognized by the Government of India or any State Government. OR 2) Degree in BPT from a University recognized by UGC or from Central Universities or from National Institutes or from institutions recognized by the Government of India or any State Government, with 2 years of work experience in a medical college or a medical institution recognized by the Government of India or any State Government, after obtaining the degree. OR 3) Must have passed Pre-University or equivalent examination and must have obtained training as Class-2 Assistant in Physiotherapy in the Armed Forces.

1. The full period of the said training in Physiotherapy in the Armed Forces must be completed. 2. Appointment is made in the ratio of 4:1, considering qualifications 1 and 2 as one category. In the absence of candidates with the third qualification, all vacancies will be filled based on a merit list of candidates with the first and second qualifications. 3. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. 4. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. 5. In case of any difference in caste/community claimed in the application and that recorded in the SSLC book, a non-creamy layer/caste certificate along with a Gazette notification regarding the name change must be produced at the time of certificate verification. 6. Candidates claiming only BPT qualification must produce an experience certificate in the prescribed format (including certificate number, date, name of post, duration, name of issuing authority, name of institution, etc.) and upload the scanned image. The original must be produced when required.
