Direct Recruitment from Ex-Servicemen only (Candidates belonging to Viswakarma Community only. Note1: Application submitted by communities other than Viswakarma will be summarily rejected.

18-49, Only candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Including relaxation as per para 2(i) Note:- The provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to a maximum of Five years from the upper age limit provided they are within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment in the above concern. But the regular employees of the concern are not eligible for the above concession for further appointment. The provisional hands should obtain a certificate showing the period of their provisional service in the concern and shall produce the same as and when required by the Commission. It would also be clearly specified in the certificate that they were not working in the regular service of the concern. (a) Educational Qualification: 1. SSLC passed or its Equivalent Qualification 2. Not less than 3 years experience in the Armed Forces viz Army / Navy / Air force. 3. Must possess valid licence in driving light motor vehicles. (b) Physical Standards: Candidates should possess minimum physical standards as prescribed below: 1. Height : 168 cms 2. Chest : Normal 81 cm, Expanded 86 cm (Minimum 5 cm expansion.) Note: 1. Differently Abled Candidates and Women are not eligible to apply for the post.

Note:- (i) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked List published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community but kept unfilled due to paucity of Viswakarma Candidates during the currency of the Mother Ranked List (Cat.No:469/10) published on 09/05/2016. This is the Fourth NCA Notification published due to the non- availability of candidates as per issuance of 1st NCA Notification in Gazette dated 15.09.2020 as Cat. No.123/2020 and 2nd NCA notification in Gazette dated 16.08.2021 as Cat.Nos.326/2021, 3rd NCA notification in Gazette dated 30.07.2022 as Cat.Nos. 277/2022. (ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. Note: (1) Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (2) In addition to the qualification prescribed in the notification, the qualifcation recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post in the Recruitment rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualification which pre – suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. 8. Probation: The probation period is applicable as per the provisions of the Recruitment Rules of the Traco Cable Company Limited. 12 (a) Sub Paras ii, iii, iv, v, vii,viii, ix,x, xi, xiii and xiv in para 2 and para 5 of the General Conditions are not applicable to this post. (b) The selection to the above concern will be subject to the rules and regulations made by them from time to time. 13 Special Instructions for Candidates a) In the case of difference in Caste / Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non-creamy layer certificate / Community certificate at the time of certificate verification. b) Candidates are required to acquaint themselves with the instructions given in the notification as part II, General Conditions before submitting application for the post. Applications which are not submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down in the General Conditions are liable to be rejected. c) Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc. and are liable to be disqualified for being considered for a particular post or debarment form applying to the Commission either permanently or for any period or the invalidation of their answer scripts or products in a written / practical test or the initiation of criminal or other proceedings against them or their removal or dismissal from office or the ordering of any other disciplinary action against them, if they have already been appointed, or any one or more of the above.
