District wise Scheduled Caste: Idukki (1) [Cat. No. 201/2021], Kasargod (1) [Cat. No. 201/2021] Scheduled Tribe: Kozhikode (1) [Cat. No. 202/2021]

Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe community only). (In the absence of candidates belonging to scheduled tribe community, candidates belonging to Scheduled caste will be considered and vice versa)

1 A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala OR A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. OR A pass in Plus two, Part III, Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations. Kerala. OR A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language. OR A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and any one of the following qualifications. (i) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination(Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (ii) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination(Lower) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (iii) A pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (iv) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala/Calicut Universities. Note: In addition to the above qualifications, as per GO (MS) 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019 BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala will also be considered as a qualification for the above said post. 2 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O. (P) No. 206/16/ G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016)

(This is the fourth NCA notification due to the non availability of SC and ST candidates for the post as per Category No.336/12 in Gazette dated 15.06.12, 246/14 in Gazette dated 13.05.2014, 29/17 in Gazette dated 28.02.2017 (Idukki ) ,Cat.No.403/15 in Gazette dated 30.10.2015, 482/17 in Gazette date 31.10.2017 , 623/19 in Gazette date 31.12.2019 (Kasargode) and Cat. No. 626/13 in Gazette dated 31.12.13, 357/15 in Gazette dated 29.09.2015, 30/17 in Gazette dated 28.02.17(Kozhikode )). Note:- i) Conventional type applications for the above post will be summarily rejected. Candidates can apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. iii) Separate Ranked List will be prepared for above said districts in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force for a period of three years or until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district whichever is earlier. iv) Candidates shall submit application for the post to the concerned district where the vacancy is existing for their respective community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. Applications should not be sent to more than one district in response to this notification. v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. vi) In case of change in Caste/Community noted in the SSLC Book, candidates must claim their original Caste/Community in the application and shall produce Community Certificate/Non Creamy Layer Certificate.
