Direct Recruitment.

18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation for SC/ST and other backward communities is applicable (See Part-2 of the General Conditions for details regarding age relaxation).

1. Post Graduate Degree in Malayalam or Folklore from a recognized University. 2. Must have published a work related to Kerala Folklore (Folklore/Folk Arts). Note: (1) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. (2) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared as equivalent by the Government through executive orders or standing orders, and higher qualifications which have the prescribed qualifications as the basic qualification, will be accepted. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications must be produced when required by the Commission. (3) Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC recognized Universities or institutions established by Parliament/State Legislature as per the provisions of GO(MS)No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointments in Government service.

1. The vacancy is currently existing. The Ranked list prepared as per this notification will be in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new ranked list is published for the same post after one year, the current list will cease to be in force. Appointments will be made from the existing list for vacancies reported while the list is in force. 2. Probation: Candidates appointed by direct recruitment to this post shall be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining. 3. Training: Candidates appointed by direct recruitment shall be subject to training as prescribed from time to time. 4. Test: Candidates appointed to this post must pass the Account Test for Executive Officers (or Account Test (Lower) if not already passed) within the period of probation. 5. Application Procedure: Candidates must register as per 'One Time Registration' on the official website of the Kerala Public Service Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in) before applying. Candidates who have already registered can apply through their profile. Candidates must click the 'Apply Now' button against the respective post in the Notification Link. Uploaded photo must be taken after 31/12/2013. For profiles created from 01.01.2022, the photo must be taken within the last six months. The name of the candidate and the date of taking the photo must be clearly recorded at the bottom of the photo. The uploaded photo is valid for 10 years. No application fee. Candidates must ensure the details in their profile are correct before applying. Candidates must keep a soft copy/printout of the online application. Printout of the application must be produced for any correspondence with the Commission. Applications will be rejected if found contrary to notification rules. Original documents to prove educational qualification, experience, caste, age, etc., must be produced when required by the Commission. Corrections made by candidates in their profile after the last date will not be reflected in the application. 6. Confirmation: If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must provide confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who provide confirmation will be able to download the admission ticket 15 days before the exam date. Applications of candidates who do not provide confirmation within the stipulated time will be rejected. Details regarding the confirmation period and admission ticket availability will be published in the exam calendar. Notification will be sent to the candidate's profile and registered mobile number. 7. Aadhaar Card: Candidates with an Aadhaar card must provide it as an identity document in their profile. 8. Special Instructions: Candidates must ensure that the caste/community mentioned in the application matches the SSLC book. If different, a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate along with a Gazette notification regarding the caste change must be produced at the time of certificate verification. Candidates must read the general conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification before applying. Applications submitted contrary to general conditions will be rejected. Candidates submitting false information regarding education, experience, etc., will be subject to disciplinary action as per the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure Rule 22, including debarment from applying, invalidation of answer scripts, disciplinary action, removal from service if already appointed, dismissal, or other appropriate legal/disciplinary actions.
