Direct Recruitment. (From candidates belonging to SCCC, Muslim communities only).

21-49, Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included). (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note: Adults who have been converted from SC to Christianity and their children shall be given upper age limit upto 50 years. They should have been born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) (including relaxation in Para 2(i) of General conditions). 1) Master's Degree in the concerned speciality (MD/MS/DNB) or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. 2) Three years Teaching Experience or such other teaching experience as may be prescribed by the Medical Council of India. 3) Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore - Cochin Medical Council). Note: 1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. 2. Period of Post Graduate study of candidates who obtained PG Degree through Residency Programme will be considered as teaching experience for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who have obtained Post Graduate Degree without Residency Programme should produce a certificate from the Principal of the college where he/she studied specifying the period of teaching/clinical experience gained by them during the Post Graduate course period. 3. Provisional registration with any Medical Council will not be considered. 4. Candidates should ensure that all certificates issued by Travancore Cochin Medical Council regarding permanent registration and other qualifications are updated in their profile before submitting the application.

1. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be rejected. No individual memo will be issued to such candidates. 2. Persons appointed to this post should serve in the Defence Services of India or on Defence works anywhere in India or abroad, for the first ten (10) years (including period of training) of their service. This compulsory military service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and to differently abled candidates. 3. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification should produce the Government order to prove equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent. 4. Appropriate caste/community certificate along with Gazette Notification regarding change in caste should be produced at the time of certificate verification in case the caste shown in the application differs from that entered in SSLC book. 5. Candidates who claim Experience qualification should obtain Experience Certificate in the format given in Annexure A or B and enter details of experience (Certificate number, date, name of post, period, name of issuing authority, name of institution etc.) in the profile and upload scanned image/self declaration (for those who have experience but unable to get experience certificate due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions) of experience certificate while submitting application. Candidates should produce experience certificate when called for by the Commission.
