20 – 36, Only Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included)are eligible to apply for this post . (No other age relaxation will be allowed)

(a) Must be a Graduate Note: 1.If sufficient number of fully qualified candidates are not available, applications of those who have passed Pre-University/ Pre-Degree or equivalent examination of recognized University shall be considered. 2.Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. 3.Those candidates who have claimed equivalency for qualifications should produce the relevant Government Order to prove the same at the time of verification in order to considered as equivalent. Candidates claiming higher /equivalent to the qualification for which equivalency is prescribed in the notification should produce equivalency certificate from concerned institution or Government order proving the equivalency. 4. If the caste of candidates is wrongly mentioned in their SSLC book, they should claim their original caste in their applications and should produce community certificate issued from the revenue authority concerned and the Gazette Notification for the same at the time of certificate verification. (b) Physical Qualifications. Must be physically fit and should possess the following minimum physical standards. (i) Height : 160 cms (Without footwear) Taller persons will be given preference (ii) Chest : 76 cms with minimum expansion of 5 cms. (iii) Should be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses. Right Eye: Distant vision 6/6 snellen, Near vision 0.5 snellen, Field of Vision Full Left Eye: Distant vision 6/6snellen, Near vision 0.5snellen, Field of Vision Full Note:- a) Each eye must have full field of vision. b) Colour blindness, squint or any morbid condition of the eye or lids of either eye shall be deemed to be disqualification. c) Candidates should be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat feet, varicose veins,bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing etc. (c) Should qualify an examination to be conducted by the PSC. (d) Physical Efficiency: Candidates must qualify at least five of the undermentioned eight events of one star standard which is the minimum requirement for the recruitment.

The Ranked List published in pursuance of this notification shall cease to be in force after a period of one year from the date of finalization of the Ranked List. Recruitment will be made for the above vacancy and also for the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment from Scheduled Tribes only during the pendency of the list. Women & Differently abled persons are not eligible to apply in response to this notification. Application received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe candidates will be rejected. Individual communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be issued. Candidates selected for appointment shall undergo training for a period of one year in the Police Training College or in such other institutions as may be specified by Government or the Director General of Police. The period of training shall not be treated as duty and shall not be counted for any service benefits including increment,probation etc and during the period of training the trainee shall be paid such stipend as may be specified by Government from time to time. On appointment, they will be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Every person appointed to the post shall execute a bond before he joins for training to the effect that he shall serve the department for a minimum period of five years. No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Candidates are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference. Candidates can take the printout of the application by clicking on the link 'My applications' in their profile. All correspondences with the Commission, regarding the application should be accompanied with the print out of the application. The application will be summarily rejected if non-compliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Original documents to prove qualification, experience, age, Community etc. have to be produced as and when called for. If written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile . Such candidates alone can generate and download the Admission Tickets in the last 15 days till the date of Test. The applications of candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated period, will be rejected absolutely. The periods regarding the submission of confirmation and the availability of Admission Tickets will be published in the Examination Calendar itself. Information in this regard will be given to the candidates in their respective profiles and in the mobile phone number registered in it. As per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976 appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against those candidates who submit application for the post with false claims of possession of prescribed qualification,experience etc and give confirmation for examination, irrespective of whether they have appeared for the examination or not.
