Direct Recruitment. (From candidates belonging to Muslim, Scheduled Caste communities only). (1) 21-49; Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Muslim. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). (2) 21-50; Only candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Scheduled Caste. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note:- For other conditions regarding age limit, please see Para 2 of the General Conditions except Para 2(i).

1. D.M. Medical Gastroenterology / D.N.B. Medical Gastroenterology. 2. Three Years Teaching Experience or such other teaching experience prescribed by the Medical Council of India. 3. Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council). Note: 1. The periodo f Post Graduate study and training of the candidates who have acquired Post Graduate Degree through Residency Programme shall be counted as teaching experience for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who have acquired Post Graduate Degree without Residency Programme should produce a certificate from the Principal of the College where he/she has studied, showing the teaching/clinical experience gained by him/her during the period of Post Graduate study. 2. Persons appointed to the post shall render service in the Defence Services or on Defence Work connected with India anywhere inside or outside India, for the first ten years (including the period of training) out of service is four years. This condition is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and Differently Abled persons. 3. Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.

1. The vacancies reported in this notification are existing. Ranked lists prepared in accordance with this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said lists will continue to be in force till the publication of a new ranked list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from the respective communities advised accordingly. Vacancies noticed during the tenure of the ranked list will be filled up by advice/appointment from the above list. 2. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. 3. Candidates must register as per 'One Time Registration' with the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in) before applying for the post.
