Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian, Scheduled Tribe communities only)

(a) 18-43 .For Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian Communities, Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. [including the age relaxation in para 2(i) of the General Conditions]. (b) 18-45. For Scheduled Tribe Communities, Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply).[Including age relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions.] Note:- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years, please see para 2 of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification [Except para 2(i)].

1 A Degree in the concerned subject and BEd/BT in the concerned subject both conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. 2. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K TET Category III) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

i. The II NCA notification in Kasaragod district is issued due to the paucity of qualified candidates belonging to Latin Catholic/ Anglo Indian community after the issuance of I NCA Notification vide Category No. 485/2014 in the Gazette dated 25.11.2014. ii. The III NCA notification in Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad and Kasaragod districts is issued due to the paucity of qualified candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community after the issuance of I NCA Notification vide Category No. 047/2014 in the Gazette dated 15.03.2014 and II NCA Notification vide Category No. 620/2017 in the Gazette dated 29.12.2017. iii. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the above districts for the above communities in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Mother Ranked List published for the post in the following date in the following districts. iv. Candidates belonging to above reservation community shall submit application for the post to the above district, where the vacancy is existing and should note the name of the district against the relevant column of the online application. Applications should not be sent to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are sent contrary to above direction and he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her v. The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in GO (MS) No 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he or she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in GO (P) No 36/91/P&ARD dated 02.12.1991. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
