18-36. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.

(1) SSLC or equivalent qualification. (2) ITI Certificate in Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification. (3) Government recognized certificate in Computer Aided Design including 3D projection or Auto CAD.

Probation: Candidates appointed to this post will be on probation for a total period of one year on duty within a continuous period of two years, of which the first one year shall be temporary duty and the subsequent six months shall be probation. (i) The vacancy mentioned above is currently existing. The ranked list prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new ranked list is published for the same post after one year, the ranked list prepared as per this notification will cease to be in force. Appointments will be made from this list to the existing vacancy and also to the vacancies reported during the currency of the list. (ii) If any recommendation for appointment to the post is found to be incorrect later, the Kerala Public Service Commission has the power to cancel the appointment. If the appointment recommendation is cancelled, the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate. However, the termination of service should be within the probation period of the candidate or within 240 days of joining the job, whichever is completed first. (iii) Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. (1) KSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. (2) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the government order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. (3) If the caste/community claimed by the candidate in the application is different from that recorded in the SSLC book, a Gazette notification regarding the change of caste along with the Non-Creamy Layer/Caste certificate must be produced at the time of certificate verification.
