18-39. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation will be given to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities.

SSLC

i) The vacancies reported are currently existing. The Ranked list prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new ranked list is published after one year, the current list will cease to exist. Recruitment will be made from the existing list for the reported vacancies and also for the vacancies that may be reported during the currency of the list. ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission reserves the right to cancel any advice for appointment if it is found to be incorrect. If the advice is cancelled, the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate. However, such termination should be within the probation period or within 240 days of joining, whichever is earlier. iii) 3% of the vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates (Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision) as per GO(P)No.1/13/SJD dated 03.01.2013. - For candidates already working in the institution on a provisional basis, age relaxation is allowed equal to the length of their provisional service, provided they were within the age limit at the time of their first provisional appointment. This benefit is limited to a maximum of five years. This benefit is not available to those already holding a regular post in the institution. Candidates with provisional service must obtain a certificate showing the length of service and produce it when required by the Commission. The certificate must specifically state that they were not in regular service. - KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. - Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the government order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. - Candidates claiming a different caste/community in the application than what is recorded in their SSLC book must produce a Gazette notification regarding the change along with their Non-Creamy Layer/Caste certificate at the time of verification. - Candidates who make false claims regarding qualifications, experience, etc., and fail to appear for the examination after giving confirmation will be subject to disciplinary action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure Rule 22. - Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31.12.2011 with their name and date of photo taken clearly recorded at the bottom. The photo is valid for 10 years. - No application fee. - Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the online application. - Candidates must provide confirmation for the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Admission tickets will be generated only for those who provide confirmation. - Candidates with Aadhar card must provide it as an identity document in their profile.
