18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions of the Gazette Notification.)

i. Pass in SSLC or equivalent qualification. ii. Must possess a valid Driving License of Light Motor Vehicles with Driver's Badge and must have at least 3 (three) years of experience in driving Light Motor Vehicles. iii. Proficiency in driving Light Motor Vehicles must be proved by a practical test. iv. Physical Qualifications:- (a) Vision: Must have full hearing capacity. (b) Eye: Right Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen Left Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen Colour Vision: Should be normal Squint: Should not be present (c) Muscles and Joints: No paralysis. All joints must be capable of free movement. (d) Nervous System: Should be perfectly normal. (e) Infectious diseases: Should not have any.

Note: I (a) The vacancies shown above are currently existing. The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new Ranked List is published for the same post after one year, the current list will cease to exist. Appointments will be made from the said list against the vacancies reported during the period of the list. Note: II (a) KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable. (b) From 12.10.2018, the Driver's Badge for driving Light Motor Vehicles has been exempted. (c) The practical test for candidates applying through direct recruitment will be conducted by the Public Service Commission. For candidates applying through transfer/promotion, the practical test will be conducted by the Co-ordinating Agency as specified in G.O(P) 202/72/PD dated 22-5-1972. (d) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared by the Government as equivalent to the prescribed educational qualification, qualifications in the Special Rules, and higher qualifications which have the prescribed qualification as the basic qualification will be accepted. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications must be produced when required by the Commission. Note: III 1) Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. 2) Candidates must record full details regarding Driving License, Driving experience, etc., in the column for qualifications in the application. 3) When called for the practical test, candidates must produce a medical certificate in the prescribed format (excluding 7 iv (b)) from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon. Additionally, a medical certificate regarding vision as mentioned in 7(iv)(b) must be obtained from an Ophthalmologist in Government Service. The format of the medical certificate is attached to this notification. 4) Candidates must possess a valid Driving License with Badge at all stages of selection, i.e., on the last date of receipt of application, OMR/Online test, practical test, and interview. (From 12.10.2018, the Driver's Badge for driving Light Motor Vehicles has been exempted.) Probation: Candidates appointed to this post will be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining.
