Muslim-2 (Two) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked List published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked for the Muslim community but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published on 07/12/2009 for the post (Category No.259/09). This is the Second NCA Notification published due to the non availability of candidates as per the notification in the Gazette dated 28/10/2011 under Category No.380/2011.
Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment (from among Muslim Community) Application of candidates other Muslim community will be rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be issued.
Age Limit
21-49 (Only candidates born between 02/01/1964 and 01/01/1992 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions) Note:- For conditions regarding other age relaxation please see para 2 of the General Conditions except para 2 (i)
Qualifications
(1) MD (Psychiatry)/DNB(Psychiatry) (2) Permanent Registration under Travancore - Cochin Medical Council
Notes
1) DNB qualifications must be acquired from a Medical College, which is recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala 2) Provisional Registration with any Medical Council will not be accepted. 3) Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the first ten(10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under defence services connected with defence, if required. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the above compulsory Military service.
