ST -1(One) Note : The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked to the above community but remains unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked list published on 07.12.2009 for the post. This is the third NCA notification for the post owing to non availability of qualified candidates belonging to the above community as per the I & II NCA Notifications [First NCA Gazette dated 31.12.2010, Category No. 491/2010, II nd NCA Notification Gazette dated 28.12.2011, Category No. 461/2011]

Direct recruitment (Recruitment from candidates belonging to reservation group mentioned in this notification). But applications of SC candidates will be considered in the absence of ST candidates. Note : Applications of candidates belonging to communities other than mentioned in this notification will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them.

22-45, Only candidates born between 02.01.1968 and 01.01.1991 (both dates included) are eligible to apply.(including relaxation in para 2(i) of General Conditions. [For more conditions regarding age relaxation please see para 2 of general conditions except the relaxation in para 2 (i)]

1. Master’s degree in the subject concerned with at least 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic record . 2. Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the subject concerned specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf. When qualifications are being equal preference shall be given to candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam. Note: (1) For PhD holders who have passed Master's Degree prior to 19.09.1991, 50% marks for Master's degree shall be sufficient. (G.O. (MS)2/07/H.Edn. Dated 04.01.2007) (2) Candidates who have obtained Ph.D Degree in the subject concerned or have passed M.Phil degree in the concerned subject by 31/12/1993 are exempted from passing the NET examination (G.O (MS) No: 86/07/H.Edn dated 19.06.2007) (G.O (P) No: 123/02/H.Edn dated 17.09.2002) (3) For recruitment to various posts under these rules Degrees awarded by the Universities recognized by UGC alone shall be considered.
