Non Vocational Teacher in Commerce

4 (Four) By transfer (Reserved for qualified Ministerial Staff in the KVHSE Department.

By transfer from qualified Ministerial staff in the Subordianate service of the Dept.

Only Candidates born on or before 01.01.1991 are eligible to apply for this post . Upper age limit is not applicable for By transfer category(other conditions regarding the age relaxation given in part 2 of the General Conditions are not applicable for this post)

1 Master's Degree in the concerned subject ie, Commerce with not less than 50% marks acquired after a regualr course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognised as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by a University in Kerala. 2 (I) B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognised as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala. (ii)In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala (iii) In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree as specified in items (i) and (ii) above, persons with B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognised as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. 3 Must have passed the State Eligibility Test in the concerned subject for the post of Non Vocational Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the Agency authorized by the State Government. Exemptions :- 1. Those who have passed the State Level Eligibility Test for the post of College Lectures conducted by Govt. of Kerala are exempted from State Eligibility Test for Non Vocational Teacher. 2. Those who have passed the State Eligibility Test for the post of HSST conducted by Govt. of Kerala are exempted from State Eligibility Test for Non Vocational Teacher. 3. Those who have passed National Eligibility Test / Junior Research Fellowship shall be exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test. 4. Persons with Ph.D/M.Phil/M.Ed Degree shall be exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test provided the M.Phil in the concerned subject be one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. 5.Those who have submitted Ph.D Thesis and passed M.Phil shall be exempted from State Eligibility Test upto the time of exemption granted by the UGC from time to time as in the case of candidates having the above qualifications from passing National Eligibility Test.

Note 1 All the Educational Qualifications for teaching posts should be one acquired after a regular course of study from a recognized University in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. 2. The qualified persons in the ministerial staff in the subordinate service of the Dept. shall qualify an eligibility test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission 3. Persons who have acquired M.Ed in the concerned subject recognized by a university in Kerala are exempted from B.Ed qualification. Note: The applicants should be a regular ministerial staff in the KVHSE subordinate service. They should obtain and keep a Certificate from the Head of Office showing their Service Particulars in the form given below and produce the same as and when required by the Commission (In Original)
