Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, SCCC & Dheevara communities only). (In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community will also be considered).

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of SCCC & Dheevara communities. In the case of adult members of SC and their children converted to Christian religion the upper age limit shall be 45 years ie. candidates born between 02.01.1979 & 01.01.2006 (Including age relaxation as per para 2(i) of the general conditions). 18-45. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Scheduled Caste candidates. (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of General conditions)

1 A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala OR A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. OR A pass in Plus two, Part III, Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations. Kerala. OR A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language. OR A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and any one of the following qualifications. (i) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (ii) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (iii) A pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (iv) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala/Calicut Universities. Note: In addition to the above qualifications, as per GO (MS) 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019, BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala will also be considered as a qualification for the above said post. 2 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala

Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than that notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community will also be considered. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the above districts for each community in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked Lists thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, which remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following districts. Candidates shall submit application for the post to any one of the above mentioned districts where the vacancy is existing for the respective community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction, and if the candidate is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. But as per the G.O.(P)No.12/96/ P&ARD dated 16.3.1996 the conditions of 5 years Service is not applicable for transfer to the districts Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And these concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt. Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
