1 Pass in SSLC or its equivalent qualification 2 Group Certificate in Drawing (KGTE or MGTE) OR Certificate in Drawing and Painting (Two year course) issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR Diploma in Painting issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala OR Group Diploma in Drawing (KGTE or MGTE) OR National Diploma in Applied Arts issued by the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram OR Bachelor of Fine Arts preparatory Examination of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A Degree in Painting of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A Degree in Applied Arts of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A (Condensed) Degree in Painting of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A. (Sculpture) of the University of Kerala OR Certificate course Examination in Commercial Art issued by the Government of Kerala OR National Diploma in Fine Arts (5 year course) awarded by the commissioner for Government Examinations/ Director of Technical Education OR Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Fine Arts 3 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Exemption: (i) Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects or M.Ed are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O.(P) No.145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O.(P) No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). (ii) As per G.O.(P)No.6/2024/GEDN dtd 01.02.2024, exemptions are given to those who have passed CTET Primary stage from KTET Category I and CTET Elementary stage from KTET Category II, but CTET (Primary stage & Elementary stage) will not be considered against KTET Category III and IV.

Note:- (i) Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than that notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (iii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the above districts for each community in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked Lists thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district. (iv) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five (5) years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five (5) years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. But as per the GO(P)No 12/96/P&ARD dated 16/03/1996 the condition of Five (5) years is not applicable for transfer to Idukki, Wayanad and Kasargod districts.The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts.And this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Government Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (v) Candidates shall submit application for the post to any one of the above mentioned districts where the vacancy is existing for the respective community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction, and if the candidate is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her.
