Direct Recruitment (From among the candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Latin Catholics/Anglo Indian, OBC, Viswakarma communities only). In the absence of SC candidates, ST candidates will be considered. Vice versa.

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in respect of Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Latin Catholics/Anglo Indian, OBC, Viswakarma communities. 18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in respect of SC/ST candidates. (Including the relaxations mentioned in Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note:- Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years except the conditions mentioned in Para 2 of General Conditions (excluding para 2(i)).

1) A Degree in Arabic or a Degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic (Aeronautical) awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (if such Title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of a Degree) and Language Teacher's Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR BA (Arabic & Islamic History) double main degree awarded by the Calicut University (G.O (MS)No.114/2018/G Edn dated 16.08.2018). 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by Government of Kerala. Exemptions - 1. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016, G.O.(P)No.15/2020/G Edn dated 9.10.2020). 2. Candidates who have passed CTET Primary Stage are exempted from KTET Category I and CTET Elementary Stage are exempted from KTET Category II. CTET qualification will not be accepted for KTET Category III and IV as per G.O.(P) No. 1866829/J3/2017/G.Edn. dated 09.03.2018.

(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district and for each community in pursuance of this notification. (iii) Candidates should submit applications only to any one district in response to this notification and note the name of the district against the relevant column in the application. (iv) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. (v) Candidates who claim equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order to prove equivalency at the time of verification.
